In a video shared on social media by the Municipality of San Miguel, the police deployment is shown after a neighbor reported the theft of a cell phone, culminating in the criminal's arrest after an intense chase. This man was intercepted and apprehended with the help of two police patrols.
The situation could have had fatal consequences due to the risky actions of the thief trying to evade the authorities, endangering pedestrians by driving on the sidewalk. Despite his attempts to evade capture, he was ultimately arrested in San Miguel after being cornered by security forces.
